A solemn ceremony opening a multi-brand center of Belarusian equipment based at LLC Service of Mining Machines (SKM) was held in Magadan. This was reported by BELTA in the press service of the Embassy of Belarus in the Russian Federation.

Since 2014, SKM has been a participant in the BELAZ distribution network and also serves as an accredited service center for MoAZ, MAZ, AMKODOR, and MTZ. The new center for demonstration, sales, and servicing of Belarusian-made equipment is equipped with all necessary tools and equipment for performing service work and operating mobile teams.

"We have the most promising plans for developing cooperation with the Magadan Region. Various Belarusian equipment operates in the region, and, of course, its operating conditions are not the simplest, given the climatic features of the area. However, I believe that with the opening of this center, the quality of servicing our machines will be at the highest level, and the emergence of this new enterprise will provide additional incentives to increase the presence of Belarusian equipment here," emphasized Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Yuri Seliverstov during the opening ceremony.

During the ceremony, participants, together with company and regional management, inspected the trade and service sites and discussed in detail the strategy for developing multi-brand centers of Belarusian equipment in Russia, prospects for increasing supplies of Belarusian products to meet the needs of the region's mining industry, logistics issues, interaction with headquarters enterprises, and a number of other matters.
