A Minsk coffee shop launched an unusual promotion. Here's the catch.

Iskra coffee shop launched a kind initiative. Baristas stuck special messages on drink cups: photos of pets that really need a home. The main idea is to introduce guests to the shelter where dogs currently live, and perhaps help someone find that very friend.

The mechanism is simple: each cup features a photo, the dog's name, and a short message. Afterwards, the guest can scan the QR code and go to the Home4dog shelter's account.

"I have been helping the shelter as a volunteer for about two years," said coffee shop manager Anastasia. "When things settled down at the coffee shop, the idea came up to help animals this way. We are not asking people to take the dogs — first and foremost, we want to draw attention to them."

But that's not all: part of the proceeds from selling drinks in the 'kind' cups will also go to help animals.

According to Anastasia, the campaign will definitely run until the end of September. You can find the coffee shop on the second floor of the Titan shopping center (Dzerzhinsky Prospekt, 104B).
