A major outage occurred in Yandex Go. Users encountered problems when ordering taxis, and some app functions became unavailable. The disruptions also affected Belarus.
According to the company, the cause of the outage was damage to the data center infrastructure in Vladimir due to a drone attack. Its operation had to be completely halted. No one was injured; specialists are assessing the damage and restoring services.
Yandex Go acknowledged that some app functions may be working incorrectly.
"Please excuse us, sometimes we have to turn something off to fix everything faster," service representatives said in Threads.
Problems arose not only in Belarus but also in Georgia, Armenia, and Kazakhstan. Moreover, the disruptions affected other Yandex services. The company warned that the platform is currently operating in emergency mode, and contact with technical support may be unstable.
According to media reports, this is already the third Yandex data center affected in a week. Earlier, reports mentioned attacks on facilities near Ryazan and in Kaluga.
