With Care for Children
The parliamentary commission's activities went beyond dry figures in reports, discussions of the current economic situation, and cabinet meetings. Of course, monthly work included receptions for citizens, assistance in resolving their problems. Deputies certainly participated in Saturday gatherings and urban beautification projects, as well as patriotic and significant holiday events held in the city. An especially important part of their work was sincere concern for the young children of Bobruisk.
– Elected representatives paid special attention to the family-style children's home of the Makarenko family. Visits to the large and friendly Makarenko family were timed with major children's holidays. On Children's Day in June, deputies visited the home's students with gifts. The festive meeting allowed informal discussion with parent-caregivers about current household needs and questions regarding comprehensive support for the family children's home. Ahead of Knowledge Day, within the republican initiative "To School with a Kind Heart," the commission deputies presented students with stationery supplies, sports equipment, and sweet treats, wishing the kids excellent grades and inspiration for the new academic year.
Deputies of the standing commission of the city council note: a comprehensive approach – from monitoring economic indicators of large enterprises to targeted aid for specific families – enables effective resolution of development tasks for Bobruisk, making our city more comfortable and prosperous for every resident.
