The draft law 'On the Republican Budget for 2027' has been submitted by the government to the House of Representatives, BELTA reported from the press service of the House of Representatives.

Revenue of the republican budget is forecast at 58.9 billion rubles. Expenditures are set at 60.8 billion rubles.

Priority remains funding for the social sector — 12 billion rubles, including:

• healthcare expenditures — 3.9 billion rubles
• education — 3 billion rubles
• social policy — 4 billion rubles
• national economy — 10.2 billion rubles

Planned:

• transfer of transfers to the Social Protection Fund of the Population in the amount of 2.1 billion rubles
• subsidies and grants to local budgets — 12.5 billion rubles

Implementation of the republican budget is expected with a deficit of 1.9 billion rubles.

The leading committee on the bill has been determined as the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives on Budget and Finance.

Furthermore, the government has submitted to the House of Representatives a draft law 'On Amending the Tax Code of the Republic of Belarus'.
