At a quick glance at the photo, it might seem like a new Xiaomi model. But no. The coupe-like silhouette and almond-shaped front headlights this time were adopted by a new electric vehicle from the Geely Galaxy lineup. Pre-sales began in August, and now the model has officially launched in the Chinese market.

Chinese media cite data published jointly by state industrial supervision authorities and the State Tax Administration. According to these data, the car has a fastback body measuring 4,999 mm in length, 1,919 mm in width, and 1,479 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm.

The base version is equipped with a synchronous permanent-magnet electric motor delivering 333 hp on the rear axle, while the top variant features a dual-motor powertrain with an output of 578 hp.

Geely Galaxy TT offers three lithium-ion battery options. The base version comes with a 52.5 kWh battery providing a CLTC range of 540 km. The 63.8 kWh version is rated for 640 km. Interestingly, for the 75.2 kWh variant, two figures are quoted: either 650 km or 725 km, depending on the wheel size used and the aerodynamic body elements.

In mid-June, Geely released official photos of the upcoming model. From them, the fastback can be examined in detail from all sides. The roof-mounted lidar was visible in earlier images as well. However, pay attention to the rear of the body and you will see that the trunk lid is supplemented by an electrically actuated spoiler.

In the salon, special attachment points (using threaded connections or magnets) are installed for various accessories for active recreation. Besides a 12-liter cooler, there is an 8.5-liter sliding box under the rear seat, as well as a 5.2-liter thermo-box that can be both cooled and heated. The baggage compartment has been opened and its volume is 475 liters, and this does not include the "basement" of 53 liters. Additionally, there is a 110-liter trunk under the hood cover.

Local media report that at present the Galaxy TT is being offered at a special (time-limited) price ranging from 129,900 to 185,900 yuan (from 19,100 to 27,300 US dollars). The initial modification is the single-motor 640 RWD Edition with a power of 329 hp, while the top version is the 578-hp Ultra with acceleration from 0 to 100 in 3.8 seconds. A total of five versions are available.

The car uses an architecture with 800-volt voltage. At the front, a fully aluminum suspension on double transverse arms is employed, while at the rear a five-link suspension is used. The car has received an adaptive damping system FSD and an optional CCD-AI "Magic Carpet" chassis, which is available in two-motor versions.

It is also known that the Galaxy TT received two variants of the ADAS package. The first operates based on the Horizon J6M chip (128 TOPS) and includes 11 cameras, three millimeter-wave radars, and a 192-channel lidar. The more advanced variant uses the Nvidia Thor-U chip (700 TOPS) and a Hesai EMX MINI complemented lidar.

Both systems support extended functions, including a road condition awareness system in urban environments (Urban NOA), a highway road condition awareness system (Highway NOA), door-to-door navigation (D2D), and automatic parking.
