38 years of work at the Svetlogorsk factory of artificial fiber

38 years of work at the Svetlogorsk artificial fiber factory is a considerable tenure. 28 of those years were spent in the weaving shop. Over these years, weaver Lyudmila Krupenko achieved impressive heights of professional mastery. Her experience was studied by representatives from Moscow and other cities of the Soviet Union.

One profession for a lifetime

In the family of Adam and Yekaterina Zakrzhevskikh, who lived in Zhlobin, there were two sons and two twin daughters. The mother was a housewife, and the father worked as a locomotive depot mechanic.

In 1964, a representative of the Svetlogorsk artificial fiber factory came to our school and offered us a job at the enterprise after training, recalls Lyudmila Adamovna. The factory was still under construction, but by the time it was launched, specialists were supposed to be working in its shops. Following the enterprise's direction, I enrolled in GPTU-44 in Mogilev and received the profession of a weaver. In August 1965, about 20 young weavers started working. My first mentor in the profession was weaver Nina Kurash.

Lyudmila Krupenko remembers her shift supervisor, Mariya Svitina, with particular warmth. Mariya Iosifovna - that's how the weavers respectfully referred to her, although many of them were older than her. She was the soul of the collective and even in small things showed care for her workers.

Gradually, Lyudmila Krupenko mastered new machines for producing cord thread and gained experience. After some time, she was already servicing 14 machines, while at the peak of production volumes in the shop, there were about 80 of them. We produced rolls of cord fabric for the tire industry, explains Lyudmila Adamovna. We worked in two and three shifts, and if it was necessary to produce a larger amount of fabric, we worked overtime.

Quality number one

In 1980, Lyudmila Krupenko represented the Svetlogorsk enterprise at the All-Union competition of professional skills in Krasnoyarsk, where she competed with professionals from Russia, Ukraine, and Latvia. At first, many thought that the modest 34-year-old representative of the Belarusian Svetlogorsk would not be able to compete with them. However, Lyudmila Adamovna impressed everyone: she completed the task faster than the norms of GOST provided. She passed the theory with excellent marks, and practical skills had to be demonstrated on 7 machines, while she worked on 14 every day. She was a regular participant in competitions of professional mastery among weaving shops, which largely determined the result.

Despite the fact that the jury members were impressed by Lyudmila Adamovna's skill, she was awarded second place. However, this victory was also a very worthy result: she received the right to work, marking her products with her personal stamp "№1".

For her achievements in fulfilling the production plan, she was repeatedly awarded prizes of various levels. Her name was on the company's Honor Board, and she was included in the company's Book of People's Glory. The veteran was awarded the high title of "Shock Worker of Socialist Labor" and was awarded the Order of Labor Glory, third class.

Activity is a way of life

During her work, she successfully combined professional activities with social ones. She was a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the BSSR from 1985 to 1989. Currently, she is on well-deserved rest. But she is not idle, not being a person of weak character: she unites active people around herself, heads the "Vetraz" club at the STCSON.

"We have lectures by representatives of various organizations and services. We stage plays, humor sketches, sing, dance, and hold sports events. I make paintings from diamond mosaic, knit, and work in the garden," she lists her numerous hobbies. "So I never have time to get bored."
