All weekend long, autumn agricultural fairs are being held in Minsk. The main venues — near the Sports Palace and Chizhovka Arena — are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (and today as well). The lineup isn't just potatoes: besides vegetables, there's also meat, fish, berries, honey, tea, and, of course, mushrooms at the height of the season. For those still planning trips to their dacha, there are seedlings. Here's a closer look at what you can buy and for how much.
Let's start, of course, with potatoes. We found offers at 1.30 rubles per kilogram. Some sellers offer delivery. Carrots — 1 ruble 10 kopecks per kg. Pumpkins, which can be used as decorations or carved into scary faces, are sold for 2 rubles per kilogram. Cabbage — 1.20 rubles per kg.

Apples of all varieties, colors, and sizes. The price is about 2.5 rubles per kg. Plums — 6 rubles per kg.

Peppers — from 2.5 rubles. Tomatoes — 2–3 rubles, but if you want new gastronomic experiences and a more interesting variety, the price can go up to 6 rubles. Cucumbers average about 4 rubles.

Cranberries near the Sports Palace are offered for 8.50 rubles. Blueberries — 20 rubles.

There are mushrooms — salted and fresh. Porcini mushrooms are offered at 88 rubles per kilogram.

Meat and fish are fresh, but there are also plenty of sausage products. Minced meat — 11.43 per kg, pork for cutlets — 20.57 rubles.
