The Ministry of Agriculture and Food named the key tasks for achieving the set goals. Among them — maximum use of reserves on the existing production base and completion of started investment projects.

It also provides for the construction of new facilities through competitive selection mechanisms, widespread implementation of science-intensive technologies and digital transformation.

Special attention will be paid to the development of breeding, seed production and reclamation, as well as maintaining the financial stability of the sector.

"Implementation of these measures guarantees the sustainability of the national food security system and the high competitiveness of Belarus's agro-industrial complex on the world market," the department noted.

Thus, the state program "Agro-Industrial Complex of the Future" sets clear guidelines for Belarus's agro-industrial complex for the next five years.

Growth in milk and meat production, modernization of farms, introduction of artificial intelligence in pig farming and doubling of exports — these goals should ensure the country's food security and strengthen its position in world markets.
