Operational customs revealed a scheme for evading customs payments upon importing trucks. The damage to the state exceeded 470,000 rubles.

A Belarusian economic entity organized the scheme, taking advantage of a benefit for exemption from depreciable asset collection (Government Decree No. 155), and brought in 10 trucks on favorable terms. However, one condition was violated: the vehicles were required to operate in international transport, but they were transferred to another organization, which was reported to customs authorities.

During operational measures and investigative actions, customs seized the company's vehicles—this is how the full damage was fully compensated.

A criminal case has been initiated under part 2 of Article 231 of the Criminal Code. The article's penalty provision provides a maximum sentence of imprisonment for up to six years.
