Joint Chinese-Belarusian dairy production officially opened on September 21 in Luohe city, Henan province. This was reported by the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee's economics committee.

Partners of the joint venture

The joint venture partners are OJSC "Babushkina Krynka" – the management company of the Mogilev Dairy Holding "Babushkina Krynka" and the company "Henan Hongtuo Import and Export Co. Ltd".

The joint venture opens direct access to high-quality Belarusian dairy products for one of the world's most dynamic consumer markets – the Chinese market. Luohe was chosen not by chance, but objectively.

Why Luohe was chosen

Luohe is China's first "city known for its food industry". The city has over 7,000 food industry enterprises, with a total volume exceeding 250 billion yuan. This accounts for 1/4 of the province's indicator and 1/40 of the country's indicator.

Constructed and put into operation according to high standards of the "Central China Food Products Laboratory". A food industry science and technology park, graduate school, and pilot production lines have been created.

A full-fledged system for transforming scientific research has been formed: "laboratory + graduate school + incubator + pilot base + industry fund + industrial park", which has become the driver of innovation in the food industry.

During the visit to Luohe, a meeting was held with the Party Committee Secretary Huang Fan. The meeting and the official opening of the joint production were attended by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the People's Republic of China, Alexander Chervyakov.
